As a personal chef I enjoy working in a variety of settings. I facilitate health and wellness through food as I cook for individuals, families, and events. My focus is on local, fresh, and whole foods which nourish, inspire, and create well-being for those I serve.

Sophia is a Maine native, who grew up in the Belgrade Lakes Region; she enjoys all of the gems Maine has to offer - from coast to mountains! While Maine is where she was born, and Maine is where she is currently settled, Maine is not the only beautiful place she's lived or seen.
Her love for travel began when she left Maine to attend college in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she studied psychology and alternative healing. By the time she was 25, she had visited 6 continents (Antarctica still remains on the list). Her travels exposed her to the concept of healing through food, so upon returning to the states she felt called to enroll in the eating for health curriculum at Bauman College, a holistic nutrition and culinary arts school in Boulder, Colorado. There, she learned how to integrate seasonal, organic, unrefined, and local whole foods, for optimal health and recovery.
